Angie’s Recipe of the Day: Paleo Chili

Angie’s Paleo Chili
2 lbs Lean Ground Beef/Sirloin
2 lbs Lean Ground Turkey
2 cloves Minced Garlic
1 Bunch of green onions diced
2 tbsp chili powder
1 1/2 tbsp cumin
1 tbsp Tony Chachere’s
1 tsp Cayenne Powder
2 cans Diced tomatoes w/ Green Chilies
2 cans diced Tomatoes
1 Large can tomato sauce
1 Can tomato paste
10 Dashes Smoked chipotle Tabasco
Sea Salt and Pepper to taste
Cilantro
Lime Wedges

Brown the meat in a large skillet with 1 clove of minced garlic, handful of green onion, 2 tsp chili powder, 2 tsp cumin, 1 tsp Tony Chacheres. Once completely cooked drain the drippings from pan and pour the meat into the crockpot. Add the remaining ingredients and fill the tomato paste can with warm water and pour into crockpot. Stir well , cover and simmer on low for 8-10 hours stirring occasionally. ** I will start the chili in the morning and dinner is ready in the evening.:-)** Garnish with Cilantro and Lime wedges as well as any other fixings you prefer.
